The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program is committed to providing health assessments, breastfeeding support, nutrition education and counseling, as well as referrals and vouchers for healthy foods to pregnant, breastfeeding and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, infants, and children up to age five.

WIC Income Eligibility Guidelines

NYS WIC requires all participants applying and/or receiving benefits to provide the following information: proof of identity, proof of residency, and proof of income. You can find specific examples of what is accepted from each category here.

NYS WIC also allows you to designate a person as a cartaker or proxy to attend your WIC appointment and redeem your checks at the grocery store.

Please contact our office prior to moving to obtain a Verification of Certification (VOC) Card. If you have already moved and you did not obtain a VOC Card, please download this form (Verification of Certification (VOC) Request Form) to request a transfer to another WIC Program.
